Valmeyer Forklift Operator

Position Summary

This position is responsible for moving raw and finished goods throughout the warehouse. This role requires sit-down and stand-up forklift experience.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Process customer orders using sit-down, stand-up forklifts, and tandem pallet jacks.
2. Pick and stage products based on inventory and prevent damage.
3. Load and unload trucks.
4. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety.
5. Follow company policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Machinery

• Sit-down 3-wheel forklift, tandem pallet jack, cascade 4-wheel sit-down forklift, stand-up reach truck.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility regularly.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds independently.

Work Environment

• Temperature: Freezer areas at 0°F or colder, wind chills of -10°F; dock at approximately 34°F.
• Noise: Forklift alarms and circulatory fans throughout the facility.

Work Hours

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
• Hours may fluctuate based on need.
• Flexible hours including weekends and overtime may be required.

Requirements

Salary: $23.89/hour
