Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Full-Time Forklift Operator at our Shreveport, LA service center. You will move all types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. The role operates a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock and requires meeting manifests and using a computer display.

Starting at $22.63 per hour with Monday–Friday shifts. Earn one week of vacation after 90 days and enjoy benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance and access to our employee

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read/interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience required.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long.
• Operate a forklift on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock.
• Support daily dock operations and ensure accurate loading/unloading.
