Job summary

Sabert is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator at our Sayreville, NJ facility to move goods, load and unload trucks, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse.

You will operate forklifts, check lifts prior to use, manage inventory and scanning, and ensure accuracy of documentation while following chock and lock procedures.

This role requires lifting 50 pounds, passing the forklift test, and clear communication with management. Sabert offers health, 401(k), life and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience forklift operator with the ability to pass Sabert’s forklift operator test.
• Ability to perform simple math equations.
• Ability to read directives assigned by the warehouse management systems.
• Must be able to effectively communicate inventory, stock picking, and safety issues to management and within the shipping office.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Follow proper chock and lock procedure.
• Must partake in training for license renewal.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for checking lifts prior to usage.
• Timely and accurate loading and unloading of route delivery trucks per ticket requirements.
• Timely and accurate loading and unloading of tractor-trailer trucks.
• General housekeeping to ensure warehouse standards and safe working conditions.
• Maintain the integrity of products through proper handling and storage.
• Maintain accurate inventories and scanning.
• Ensure safe operation of forklift equipment.
• Accurate completion of documents.
• Keep product and facility secure; maintain assets of the facility.
• Picking and put away from production and warehouse.
