Job summary

ND Fairmont, a division of ND Paper, is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to move materials safely in our warehouse and production areas in Fairmont, WV. You will operate a forklift, load/unload trucks, and maintain inventory organization.

This swing shift offers 12-hour shifts with 4 days on, 4 days off; candidates must have forklift experience and certification; strong safety focus and ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift in warehouse or production settings.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to protocols.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the facility.
• Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
• Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
• Ensure inventory is properly labeled and stored.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety rules.
• Assist with manual loading/unloading when required.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow company policies for forklift operation and material handling.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
