Job summary

Staffmark Group in Plano, TX is hiring a Forklift Operator to safely load/unload 53-foot trailers, operate stand-up, sit-down, cherry picker, and reach forklifts, and use handheld scanners to track freight.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse training or powered industrial truck training beneficial.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating stand-up, sit-down, cherry picker, and reach truck forklifts.
• Warehouse and freight handling experience preferred.
• Experience working in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload 53-foot trailers safely and efficiently.
• Operate stand-up, sit-down, cherry picker, and reach truck forklifts.
• Use handheld scanners to track and move freight throughout the warehouse.
• Label boxes and prepare freight for shipment.
• Verify freight documentation and inspect freight for quality standards.
• Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
