Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Harmon Recycling is seeking a Forklift Operator for our South Plainfield, NJ facility. The role will safely move material, load and unload trailers, and support daily shipping operations on weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.

The position requires at least 6 months of forklift experience in an industrial setting, strong safety discipline, and ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Shifts include 1st and 2nd with rotating Saturdays. Training and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate record keeping for inbound and outbound shipments.

• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to eight hours a day.

Forklift Operator - South Plainfield, NJ

Georgia-Pacific Recycling is seeking a Forklift Operator for at our South Plainfield, NJ facility.

This role supports the sustainability efforts of Georgia-Pacific by facilitating the movement of incoming and outgoing product through the facility. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety standards, excellence attendance, and knowledge of forklift operations.

Starting at $20/hr.

Shift: This role works weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.

• 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm (this role also works rotating Saturdays from 6:00am - 2:30pm).
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm (this role also works rotating Saturdays from 6:00am- 2:30pm).

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• 6 months or more of experience using a forklift to load and unload trailers

• Experience with a skid steer or front-end loader
