Job summary

Randstad USA is urgently seeking sit-down forklift operators for immediate placement in high-capacity distribution centers in Midway, GA. The role requires current forklift certification and a commitment to safety standards, with prep shifts from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.

Responsibilities include operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift, performing putaway and replenishment tasks, loading/unloading trailers, and conducting daily OSHA-compliant inspections.

Qualifications

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift to move, stack, and retrieve high-volume, palletized materials throughout the warehouse and loading docks.
• Execute critical inventory placement tasks, including putaway, replenishment, and retrieving full pallet loads from high racks (up to client-specific height).
• Load and unload trailers and containers meticulously, ensuring loads are properly balanced and secure according to safety and transport regulations.
• Conduct mandatory pre-shift OSHA-compliant forklift inspections (daily checklist) and report any maintenance needs immediately.
• Work collaboratively with inventory control and order selection teams to ensure accurate material flow and location management.

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
