Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking sit-down forklift operators for immediate placement in high-capacity distribution centers in Burnsville, MN. The role requires current forklift certification and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities include operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift, performing putaway and replenishment, loading/unloading shipments, and conducting daily OSHA-compliant inspections. Shift: 06:00 AM – 02:30 PM.

• Perform daily OSHA-compliant forklift inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with inventory control and order selection teams to maintain smooth material flow.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift to move, stack, and retrieve high-volume, palletized materials throughout the warehouse and loading docks.
• Execute critical inventory placement tasks, including putaway, replenishment, and retrieving full pallet loads from high racks (up to client-specific height).
• Load and unload trailers and containers meticulously, ensuring loads are properly balanced and secure according to safety and transport regulations.
• Conduct mandatory pre-shift OSHA-compliant forklift inspections (daily checklist) and report any maintenance needs immediately.
• Work collaboratively with inventory control and order selection teams to ensure accurate material flow and location management.

Qualifications

• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test.
