Schnellecke Logistics in Grove City, OH is seeking a Forklift Operator – Sit-Down to safely move materials within our warehouse and loading dock areas. You will load, unload, and transport goods, while ensuring product integrity and accurate inventory handling.

The role requires basic forklift experience, ability to obtain certification, and a strong safety mindset. You will work in a fast-paced environment with RF scanners and warehouse systems supporting daily logistics operations.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more experience operating sit-down forklifts preferred.
• Ability to obtain powered industrial equipment certification.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to obtain certification for powered industrial equipment.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials between dock, staging, and storage areas.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse and dock environment with frequent forklift traffic
• Prolonged periods of sitting while operating equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Exposure to outdoor elements at loading docks and varying temperatures
• Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
