Job summary

Staffmark in Byhalia, MS is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Operator. The role involves safely operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse operations.

You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, and support shipping and receiving activities with accurate data entry. Requirements include forklift certification for Reach Trucks and Order Pickers, HS diploma or GED, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be forklift certified with experience operating both Reach Trucks and Order Pickers.
• Basic computer/data entry skills required for shipping documentation and inventory transactions.
• Ability to accurately complete shipping, receiving, and warehouse records.
• Must pass Forklift Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate Reach Trucks and Order Pickers to move, store, and retrieve inventory.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify products for accuracy and quality.
• Enter receiving information and inventory transactions into the warehouse system.
• Pull, pack, weigh, label, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Create bills of lading, shipping paperwork, and delivery documentation.
• Assist with truck loading and unloading activities.
• Process returned merchandise and maintain accurate records.
• Organize warehouse inventory and relocate materials as needed.
• Perform routine warehouse housekeeping and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist with preventative maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
• Support other warehouse functions, including picking, packing, and inventory management as needed.
