Job summary

Stampede Culinary Partners is seeking aShipping Clerk to verify shipments, prepare documentation and coordinate logistics across the receiving and shipping process. You will study shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices and orders to determine priorities, oversee daily shipping activities, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries while maintaining records.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication with carriers and internal teams, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 3–4 years related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Determine shipping priorities by reviewing notices and orders.
• Oversee inbound/outbound shipping for accuracy and condition.
• Plan space and routing for shipments.
• Direct movement of shipments to storage areas.
• Prepare bills of lading.
• Enter shipment data and monthly freight summaries.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers.
• Prepare pick lists for staging.
• Ensure orders are confirmed in the system.
• Communicate with customer service and carriers.
