Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator on the 2nd shift at our Pinckneyville, IL facility. The role includes loading/unloading trucks, packaging, and receiving functions with strict adherence to quality procedures.

Qualified candidates have forklift experience (stand-up or sit-down) and the ability to read tickets and use SAP Shipping. Benefits start day one, with additional programs offered by Eaton.

Qualifications

Must have forklift truck experience (stand-up or sit-down).
Reading measuring tools and engineering drawings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Optimize packaging based on product.
Cross-train in all department functions.
Identify, count, sort, package, and tag parts for shipment.
Load and unload LTL and flatbed trucks.
Build crates to support packaging.
Read and interpret pick tickets.
Licensed to operate powered industrial trucks.
Train other employees as needed.
Perform receiving on inbound freight, including verification and data entry.
Handle incoming inspections to print and verify quality specifications.
Adhere to receiving and quality procedures.
Process returns for restocking and notify Quality on non-conforming material.
