Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking a Forklift Operator for a recycling industry company in St. Cloud, MN. This role supports daily warehouse and shipping operations by safely moving materials and ensuring accurate receiving and storage of freight.

You'll load and unload trucks with a sit-down propane forklift, double-stack freight, and enter data into the system. Pay is $19.00 per hour with weekly pay; temp-to-hire opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience operating a sit-down propane forklift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Basic math and computer skills for data entry and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using a sit-down propane forklift.
• Move, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Double-stack freight safely and efficiently.
• Check, record, and verify shipment counts and conditions.
• Enter receiving data into the computer system and label shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.

What You'll Do:

• Load and unload trucks using a sit-down propane forklift
• Move, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
• Double-stack freight safely and efficiently
• Check, record, and verify shipment counts and conditions
• Enter receiving data into the computer system and label shipments
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse (sweeping, organizing, storing equipment)
• Provide professional customer service and follow all safety procedures

What You Need to Bring:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience operating a sit-down propane forklift
• Ability to safely double stack loads
• 3+ years of experience in an industrial or warehouse setting (recycling industry experience is a plus)
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Basic math and computer skills
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain one
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
