Job summary

EMR USA in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Forklift Operator/Laborer to support daily operations and assist customers. You will transfer material to proper locations, prepare for shipment and load outbound shipments while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently while multitasking.
• Ability to operate equipment safely.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload scrap metal materials onto and from customer trailers, truck beds, bins, and other cargo as needed.
• Identify, sort, label, move and transfer metal materials.
• Ensure a clean and orderly workplace; clean and prepare sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
• Adhere to service logs and maintenance requirements.
• Follow production plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers.
• Adhere to operating and health and safety protocols.
