Qualifications

• Forklift experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics setting preferred.
• Ability to safely operate sit-down forklifts; experience with additional material-handling equipment is a plus.
• Must be willing and able to perform physical warehouse work in addition to forklift operation.
• Willingness to hand unload containers and trailers when needed.
• Strong teamwork and reliability to meet operational goals.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, unload, stage, and store product.
• Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and efficiently.
• Hand unload floor-loaded containers and trailers as needed.
• Receive, put away, pick, stage, and prepare customer product for shipment.
• Follow customer-specific requirements and warehouse procedures for handling and storing product.
• Verify product quantities, labels, locations, and other information to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Complete required scans and transactions within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Follow FIFO, lot, or other inventory rotation requirements when applicable.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing product for visible damage and report discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report any equipment or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and equipment-operating requirements.
• Work collaboratively with forklift drivers, warehouse associates, leads, supervisors, customer service, and other team members.
• Assist in other areas of the warehouse when workload and business needs require.
• Maintain productivity and quality while handling customer product with care.
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
