United Bags, Inc. is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for our Lafayette warehouse to safely operate forklifts and related equipment, move materials, and support loading and shipping activities.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience in a warehouse or industrial setting, a safety-focused mindset, and a commitment to reliable performance. This role offers stable hours and a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Must have previous forklift operating experience.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate forklift in confined spaces.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.
• Pick, stage, and prepare products for outgoing shipments.
• Safely move and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through logs or WMS.
• Perform routine forklift inspections and report issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to meet deadlines.
• Follow all safety policies and OSHA requirements.
