Job summary

Vylor, a global leader in the agricultural sector, seeks a qualified forklift operator for our Indiana warehouse. You will operate forklifts, perform routine upkeep, and use the WMS to track inventory while keeping accurate logs in a safety-focused environment.

You will participate in peak-season loading/unloading, maintain clean, organized floors, complete counts and sanitation tasks, and collaborate with leadership to ensure high-quality service for our clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year operating a forklift.
• At least one year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is highly valued.
• Demonstrate precision when tallying inventory items.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting scale measurements.
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
• Maintain constant vigilance while operating machinery to foster a secure environment for all staff.
• Effective communication skills for both independent tasks and collaborative team projects.
• Capability to navigate and operate machinery within restricted or narrow warehouse areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts with a focus on safety and maintain detailed inspection logs.
• Perform routine upkeep and sanitation of your assigned forklift.
• Utilize the WMS to track inventory movement and ensure all data entry is precise to help maintain accurate stock levels.
• Complete various manual tasks as assigned by leadership, such as inventory counts, sampling, or facility maintenance.
• Ensure the warehouse floor remains organized and free of debris.
• Facilitate the efficient loading and unloading of shipments during peak seasons to guarantee high-quality service for our clients.
• Uphold strict safety protocols and take immediate action during emergency situations to protect the entire team.
