Job summary

Fortune Brands is seeking a hands-on PIT operator to safely manage powered industrial trucks while contributing to daily production goals. You will use handheld scanners, ERP tools like E-21 and Great Plains, and MES-enabled tablets to track materials and production status.

The role requires daily PIT inspections, maintaining requisite eligibility, and providing materials to designated lines. You may be asked to take on varied tasks as part of a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Operate powered industrial trucks safely with safety as priority over production.
• Observe pedestrians and maintain safe work vicinity.
• Move products using sit-down, stand-up, and walkie-style trucks.
• Use handheld scanner and ERP systems (E-21/Great Plains) for inventory placement.
• Update production status using tablet PCs and MES.
• Perform daily PIT inspections.
• Maintain plus level eligibility.
• Supply skins to BDL/CDL/Saws.
