Job summary

Goggin Warehousing Llc is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials safely within our Nashville facility. You will load, unload, and transport items, perform routine equipment checks, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification is required.
• 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of forklift safety principles and safe operating practices.
• Physical ability to perform lifting and stacking tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in material handling and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks following safety guidelines and regulations.
• Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials and products within the facility.
• Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by verifying received or shipped items.
• Storage and Stacking: Properly store and stack materials, optimizing space and safety.
• Order Picking: Accurately pick and stage materials for shipment according to orders.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and report defects to maintenance.
• Documentation: Complete load sheets and inspection reports.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety standards and PPE usage.
• Communication: Coordinate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks.
