Goggin Warehousing Llc is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials safely within our Nashville facility. You will load, unload, and transport items, perform routine equipment checks, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Storage and Stacking: Properly store and stack materials, optimizing space and safety.
• Order Picking: Accurately pick and stage materials for shipment according to orders.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and report defects to maintenance.
• Documentation: Complete load sheets and inspection reports.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA safety standards and PPE usage.
• Communication: Coordinate with team members and supervisors to complete tasks.

Forklift Operator

Goggin Warehousing specializes in providing full-service warehousing and transportation solutions to a wide range of businesses and manufacturing organizations. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in the efficient and safe movement of materials and products within our facility.

Monday - Friday 7:00 - 3:30 pm

Responsibilities

1. Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.

2. Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport materials and products within the facility, including palletized goods, raw materials, and finished products.

3. Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by verifying materials and products received or shipped.

4. Storage and Stacking: Properly store and stack materials, ensuring stability and safety, while also optimizing available space.

5. Order Picking: Accurately pick and stage materials and products for shipment according to order instructions.

6. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment, reporting any defects or issues to the maintenance team.

7. Documentation: Complete required documentation, including load sheets and inspection reports.

8. Safety Compliance: Adhere to company and OSHA safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

9. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.

Requirements
