Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have earned a High School Diploma, GED, required schooling, qualifying experience or skills.
• Forklift operation experience preferred; strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented and self-directed.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position and to the safety regulations.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements and the physical base profile for this position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet company quality and performance standards for the job as specified.
• Must wear proper PPE and shoes as specified in Safety Requirements.
• This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up/shredding scrap.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Load trucks and secure product per customer requirements.
• Load and unload materials onto/off pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Monitor material usage and supply production lines with raw materials.
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Keep production lines supplied with raw materials.
• Inventory product; label, sort, wrap and tie product.
• Unload and stack material using lifting devices.
• Adapt schedule to changing warehouse demands.
• Communicate with floor lead about maintenance issues, downtime, or non-conforming loads.
• Meet all safety policies and report maintenance concerns.
• Handle special projects as business dictates.
• Duties may be expanded with additional duties.
