Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Renwick, IA is seeking a Fork Lift Operator to join a farm logistics operation. You will operate a forklift, perform inspections, and help manage inventory while adhering to safety protocols.

The role requires flexibility to rotate through three shifts with specific start times and duties including data entry via WMS and routine equipment maintenance. This is a hands-on warehouse position with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Ability to count accurately when moving inventory and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to read scales and follow instructions for correct handling and placement of materials.
• Alert, safety-minded operation of a forklift, including driving in a safe manner.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to work in tighter, confined spaces with a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift professionally and safely, completing and maintaining accurate forklift inspections.
• Perform systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift to keep equipment in reliable working condition.
• Use the WMS to continuously track the location of goods during material handling and ensure accurate data entry.
• Support warehouse needs as directed by the warehouse supervisor or team lead, including tasks such as sampling, inventory, and cleaning.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment and follow emergency procedures when necessary.
