Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator in Conyers, GA to efficiently move materials and finished goods within the plant. You will operate powered industrial trucks, inspect equipment, and ensure accurate stock placement according to production schedules.

This role requires attention to safety, the ability to read instructions and a basic understanding of inventory systems. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with experience in corrugated environments advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Prior work experience as a forklift operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and maintain proper inspections.
• Locate stock before the start of each run and deliver to machines on time.
• Move raw materials to production machines and finished goods to staging areas.
• Maintain neat, safe stock stacks and accurate location records.
• Complete paperwork and use scanning systems for inventory accuracy.
