Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Kansas City is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate powered industrial equipment, load, unload, and move products for shipping and receiving. You will use the lift to scan, label, and transport items while completing paperwork and following rotation procedures.

Expect to perform daily safety inspections, participate in cycle counts, and keep the facility inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years forklift operating experience.
• Must be licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.
• Background and drug screening required.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products; stack and transport as needed.
• Use equipment to scan products and print labels; complete paperwork.
• Perform cycle counts and daily safety inspections on forklifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate incidents to supervisor and assist with housekeeping tasks.
