Job summary

Almo Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely operate a forklift, clamp truck or cherry picker to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role emphasizes accurate handling, inventory control, and adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities include receiving, put-away, order picking, loading/unloading, and routine maintenance of equipment while maintaining clean work areas and complying with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards preferred.
• Good math, language and reading skills.
• Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operators license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact quantity and type is loaded.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
• Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion; operate equipment safely.
• Keep appropriate records and reports to ensure inventory control and security.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area; comply with OSHA standards.
• Perform or assist in aisle and Distribution Center maintenance as required.
