Job summary

General Logistics Systems US is hiring a Forklift Operator to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse facilities in California. You will work closely with the Depot Manager and supervisors to ensure inbound freight is processed safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a valid forklift certification and proven warehouse experience, with strong attention to detail and good teamwork. This role requires standing and exposure to outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid forklift operator certification.
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate inbound freight with Depot Manager and Supervisors to ensure offloading and processing.
Supervise leads and warehouse personnel to ensure timely loading, palletizing, and processing of inbound freight.
Inspect pallet quality to reduce damages and misrouted packages.
Communicate with managers, leads, and drivers to coordinate dock assignments and arrivals.
Assist with training new personnel and review procedures with staff; ensure compliance with company policies.
