Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move and stack products in a fast-paced warehouse in Columbia, SC. The role involves operating sit-down/stand-up forklifts, loading/unloading, and using scanners to print labels.

The position requires at least two years of forklift experience, a valid license, and basic computer skills. You will support inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and daily safety inspections as part of our team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of forklift operating experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.
• Background and drug screen required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials.
• Load, unload, and store products and materials.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas.
• Use equipment to scan products and print labels.
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory systems as needed.
• Follow product rotation procedures.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Conduct daily safety inspections per forklift safety checklist.
• Ensure facility is inspection-ready for SQFI, FDA, and customers.
• Report incidents to supervisor promptly.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
