Job summary

Engineered Floors is seeking a Lift Truck Operator to safely move products within the Dalton, GA facility. You will inspect equipment at shift start, operate the lift truck, scan items, and maintain accurate paperwork.

The role requires attention to safety procedures, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and basic data entry skills. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; forklift experience is a plus. Full-time on-site position with standard warehouse hours.

Qualifications

• Inspect lift truck and complete daily inspection form at the beginning of each shift.
• Mount and dismount the lift truck to check product.
• Scan product information to enter details and complete necessary paperwork.
• Verify container/product quality by tag numbers with report information.
• Load/unload materials to designated areas.
• Notify supervision of materials unable to locate.
• Maintain safe working condition of the equipment.
• Inspect dock doors, chocks, pull chains, bumpers and pads and notify supervision of any repair needs.
• Report incidents immediately.
• Work safely with complete adherence to all safety procedures.
• Reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, walking, and squatting throughout shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
