Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate and care for forklifts on a full-time basis at our Cedar Hill facility. You will handle stock placement, on-time deliveries to machines, and maintain organized storage while following daily production plans.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a Lift Truck Operator License, with benefits starting within a month of hire. Prior corrugated industry forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow safety procedures and instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret factory instructions and data.
• Basic math and measurement skills for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely; inspect prior to shift and after switching forklifts.
• Locate stock and deliver to machines on time.
• Maintain orderly stock stacks and accurate location records.
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Adhere to production schedule and assist with scheduling improvements.
• Support shipping lead and other forklift operators as needed.
• Generate reports on production data and safety metrics.
