Job summary

Sunset is seeking a HiLo Driver (Forklift) for our Laredo Distribution Center. This on-site role operates Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday from 8a-8p in a 24/7 refrigerated facility, handling forklift movement, inventory accuracy, and bulk loading/unloading.

Responsibilities include operating barcode scanners, maintaining inventory flow, completing paperwork, and upholding food-safety traceability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift License required and related work experience.
• Valid Driver’s License or state ID with a recent eye exam (within 1 year).
• Ability to use a scan gun and calculator.
• Basic arithmetic and counting skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Move product within warehouse and trailers using a forklift.
• Maintain inventory flow in receiving, shipping, and inventory areas.
• Operate bar-code scanner.
• Perform basic tagging and paperwork with high accuracy to ensure pallet movement and traceability.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and orderly.
• Report any product quality issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and complete equipment checklists.
• Assist in general warehouse cleanup and report safety risks to supervisor.
