Job Summary:

Note: Candidates must be available to work up to 12-hour shifts and one weekend day as needed. Proficiency with all three lifts: the Raymond Reach, Order Picker, and Electric Pallet Jack is required.

Position Summary: The Logistics Associate II performs a variety of warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. Under management guidance, this role supports daily logistics activities to ensure efficient and accurate handling of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Picking, including repack picking
2. Shipping: small parcel, LTL, pallet building, and loading (using electric pallet jack, reach truck, and cherry picker forklifts)
3. Receiving: unloading inbound shipments (using electric pallet jack, reach truck, and cherry picker forklifts)
4. Stocking & Replenishment, including repack stocking
5. Cycle Counting: inventory support
6. Facility Support: general warehouse maintenance, battery changes, etc.
7. Material Handling: running replenishments, component sorting, and general product movement

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, walking, standing, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working in a noisy, busy warehouse environment
• Ability to follow directions and meet safety and performance standards

Location and Compensation:

Location: Millington, TN

Salary: $20/hr

Work hours: Variable

Qualifications:

• VMS Assignment ID
• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Test

Dress Code:

Wear standard warehouse-appropriate clothing such as jeans and a T-shirt. Pants must be hole-free and worn at the waist. Shorts are permitted if not excessively short, including cargo or athletic shorts. No spandex or bike shorts. Hoodies are allowed but hoods cannot be worn on the head. Footwear must be closed-toe sneakers; steel-toed shoes are not permitted. No metal items allowed in the warehouse, including jewelry and accessories. Personal items like cell phones and smartwatches should be stored in lockers or kept in vehicles. A water bottle is allowed on the floor.
