Job description

A Day In The Life

• Transporting, storing, retrieving, identifying, sorting, stacking, auditing, locating parts and supplies, setting up jobs, making adjustments to machines and equipment, and making pick-ups and deliveries for other departments.
• Keeping the production operators supplied with adequate parts and materials, and removing finished products from their area.
• Maintaining equipment by cleaning, checking oil, greasing, etc.
• Being certified per OSHA requirements.
• Providing own hand tools.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and routing sheets, and using calipers, gauges, measuring devices, etc., and performing SPC as required.
• Ensuring hazardous waste is properly packaged and labeled before removal from the area.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• Ability to perform work for at least eight hours.
• Full use of both hands, ability to walk and see.
• Lifting 50 lbs. from floor to waist and vice versa.
• Lifting 100 lbs. and carrying it for 4 feet.
• Ability to climb.
• Lifting in excess of 65 lbs.
