Qualifications

• Experience as forklift operator or similar in production.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Positive attitude and self-starter.
• Mechanical knowledge related to material handling equipment.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts in a production setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation and safety.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, combi's, and other material handling equipment to move materials within the plant.
• Ensure that each work cell has the materials needed for production.
• Plan ahead to prevent costly delays in production.
• Follow OSHA guidelines and safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient environment.
