Job summary

Nutrition 101, based in Pendleton, Indiana, is seeking a Processing Equipment Operator / Forklift Driver to support production by operating forklifts and assisting with processing equipment handling food byproducts.

You will move materials, support crushing, baling, cleaning, and de-packaging, and maintain inventory records on tablets and in Excel; safety is a priority, and forklift certification will be earned within a few weeks.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of forklift or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to become forklift certified within the first few weeks.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the facility.
• Move finished pallets and raw materials to designated storage areas.
• Support production operations including crushing, baling, cleaning, and de-packaging materials.
• Assist processing crews to keep production running efficiently.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and quality.
