Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Boise is seeking a Forklift Operator to move, stack, and count merchandise, with duties including receiving, order picking, and inventory control. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6 months in logistics, and forklift certification.

You will operate MHE, input data into WMS, and maintain safety standards. White-in-glove handling and accurate documentation accompany shipments.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• Able to operate MHE.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations; input data into WMS.
• Stack and store product in appropriate area and maintain organized work area.
• Pull and prepare for shipment; ensure correct quantity and type of product is loaded.
• Prepare freight for operations accurately and promptly as required.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged; report variances.
• Move product from staging to production lines or docks; ensure proper documentation accompanies freight.
• Maintain tight inventory control; assist in physical inventories and stock rotation.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment; comply with SOPs and safety rules.
