Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials throughout our distribution center using standup forklifts.

You’ll be expected to retrieve and place products, follow aisle specifications, and enter shift data into the system while working safely at heights up to 20 feet. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift operation experience and RF scanner use preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English sufficiently to perform job tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and products, and operate equipment according to safety standards.
• Other duties may be assigned.
