Job Description

What you'll need to succeed as a Forklift Operator at XPO

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

Minimum Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Able to perform basic math calculations
• Flexible to work various shifts due to freight volume

Preferred Qualifications

• Dock or warehouse experience in transportation
• Forklift experience in freight or LTL environment
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Strong attention to detail and motivation to succeed

About The Forklift Operator Job

Pay, benefits, and more:

• Starting at $28.78/hour for experienced operators
• Night Shift, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
• Benefits available for scheduled 30+ hours/week
• This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position

What You'll Do On a Typical Day

Forklift Operators Are Required To

• Sort, handle, load, and unload freight efficiently
• Operate equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
• Secure freight inside trailers
• Adhere to safety policies
• Use mobile devices for shipment tracking
• Work in non-climate-controlled environments
• Lifting freight up to 50 lbs., occasionally over 70 lbs.
• Stand, walk, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel as needed
