Forklift Operators should be skilled with excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities include optimizing loads for operational efficiency, scheduling vehicle maintenance, managing inventory and equipment, and moving valuable items within the warehouse. The role requires diligence and excellent hand-eye coordination.

We are looking to hire a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator for our warehouse. Our forklifts are 18-ton propane-powered sit-down lifts. You will be responsible for stacking containers weighing up to 10,000 pounds up to 35 feet high.

Work hours: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm, Monday - Saturday.

Essential Functions

• Perform assembly functions using hand and/or power tools without supervision.
• Ensure quality standards are met.
• Move materials using hand carts or pallet jacks.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pressure washing and shop clean-up.
• Complete forklift training and operate a forklift safely.
• Perform welding tasks with various equipment, including welding plastic (roofs/panels).
• Perform cutting operations with standard shop equipment.
• Fabricate based on drawings or verbal instructions with limited supervision.
• Safely rig materials for lifting.
• Adhere to safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Schedule maintenance for forklift and delivery trucks.
• Load and unload containers and inventory.
• Scan and upload documents into IT servers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
