Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Methuen, MA to move pallets and support production across warehouse zones. You’ll use Relogistics forklift equipment to relocate stacked pallets to staging areas, maintain safe practices, and assist with pallet repair when needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, forklift certification preferred, and 1–3 years’ forklift experience; knowledge of warehouse or lumber-related work is strongly valued.

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay:

$17.00/hr

Shift(s):

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 3:30pm

What You'll Do

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment

• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times

• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required

• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required

• Maintain a clean & safe working environment

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED

• Forklift certification preferred

• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred

• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
