Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Forklift Operator in Atlanta, GA to move pallets, load and unload customer trailers, and support production needs in the warehouse.

You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged pallets as needed, while adhering to safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, forklift certification is preferred, and prior warehouse experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years forklift experience preferred, not required.
• Previous warehouse/logistics experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment.
• Operate forklifts with safety procedures at all times.
• Hand-sort pallets and repair damaged pallets when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Job description

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site! Hourly Pay $18.50/hr. Shift(s) Friday-Sunday 600pm - 630am Location Atlanta, GA, 30315

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required
• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work overtime as needed
