Job summary

Relogistics is hiring a Forklift Operator in LaGrange, GA to move pallets and support production across the warehouse. You may sort pallets by hand and repair damaged pallets as needed. This role is vital to keep our Relogistics site running smoothly.

The position offers competitive hourly pay, benefits, and the chance to work different shifts depending on location. Must have a high school diploma or GED and forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• 1-3 years of forklift experience preferred, not required.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, welding, roofing, or construction is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you'll get to move pallets and other materials through the different areas of the warehouse, supporting production requirements in those areas, as well as loading and unloading customer trailers. Forklift Operators also get to wear many hats within the site! You may also sort pallets by hand and repair damaged wooden pallets by hand in some locations. This role is vital to the success of our Relogistics site!

Hourly Pay:

$17.75/hr.

Shift(s):

Friday-Monday 5:30am - 4:00pm

Thursday-Sunday 4:00pm - 2:30am

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and sit in a forklift for entire shifts of varying lengths
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs
