48forty Solutions in Woonsocket, RI is seeking a Forklift Operator to move pallets and materials through the warehouse, support production, and assist with loading and unloading trailers.

We offer 1st and 2nd shifts ($21.00–$21.50/hr). Forklift certification is preferred and 1–3 years of forklift experience is desired.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift certification preferred
• 1-3 years of forklift experience
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Move sorted pallet stacks to appropriate staging area using Relogistics forklift equipment
• Forklifts must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times
• Hand-sorting wooden pallets, when required
• Repairing wooden pallets using a nail gun, when required
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment
