Job summary

PCA in Louisville, Kentucky is seeking a forklift operator to join our logistics team. You will operate a forklift safely, wrap materials as needed, and keep stock organized for production and shipping.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of forklift experience, ability to work overtime including weekends, and readiness to maintain PCA certified forklift license. Eligible employees receive paid vacation, holidays, 401(k) with company match, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 5+ years’ forklift operation experience.
• Overtime on short notice, including weekends, may be required.
• Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and machinery.
• Must obtain and maintain PCA-certified forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production, inbound forms, inventory tags and counts on materials received or shipped.
• Assist other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance workload and clean warehouses.
• Follow safety rules and procedures for forklift operation and report any defects."
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
