Job summary

PCA is seeking a forklift operator at our Harrisonburg, VA facility. You will operate a forklift safely, load and unload materials, and help maintain organized warehouses to support production shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months forklift experience, the ability to work overtime on short notice, and the capability to obtain PCA forklift certification. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of forklift operating experience.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime on short notice.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain PCA forklift license/certification.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Operate wrapping equipment when necessary.
• Keep stock and materials in orderly fashion.
• Document materials unloaded and taken off trucks.
• Pull jobs for production and manage inbound forms and inventory tags.
• Assist other shipping/receiving material handlers to balance workload and maintain clean warehouses.
• Follow safety rules and report any forklift issues or defects.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
