Job description

Join to apply for the Forklift Operator (Overnight Shift) role at ProAmpac

Position offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, company-paid life insurance, and more. The pay range is $18 - $20 per hour. The shift follows a 2-2-3 PM schedule.

Position Duties Include:
  1. Operate machinery safely and efficiently, maintaining high production flow and quality.
  2. Move pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials to designated areas, ensuring item integrity.
  3. Unload paper from trailers, match roll numbers and weights to manifests, label rolls, and locate in warehouse.
  4. Finish and label finished goods pallets or roll stock per customer specifications.
  5. Relocate materials/finished goods using scan guns or computer terminals.
  6. Weigh materials or products and record weights on tags or schedules.
  7. Complete loading sheets, locator sheets for shipping, and requisition forms for manufacturing.
  8. Perform daily maintenance on equipment, including lubrication, battery recharging, and gas tank replacement.
  9. Use air hoses to clean forklifts.
  10. Change batteries properly when indicated and report malfunctions to supervisors.
  11. Follow all safety, GMP, and OSHA standards.
  12. Perform tasks assigned by management and other duties as needed.
