Job summary

Austin Wood Recycling is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to safely transport palletized products and support daily operations in Texas. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork on a production site.

Qualified candidates can work extended weekly hours, including Saturdays, and must have forklift certification, the ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and tolerate outdoor conditions in variable weather.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift/Spyder is required.
• Willing to work +/-60 hours per week, including Saturdays.
• Certification for forklift is required.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and walk for short periods.
• Must be able to bend and stoop throughout the workday.
• Must be able to climb and descend stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to work outside for periods of time in all weather.
• Must be able to work in a dusty environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport palletized product via forklift from the production area to the inventory pad.
• Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and processes related to transporting product within and from the autoline production area.
• Safety gear is required and expected to be worn at all times.
• Assume other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by management.
