Job summary

PSC Group in Baytown, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator to support daily plant operations outdoors. This full-time role requires safe forklift operation, reliability, and the ability to work independently on site.

You will perform routine duties such as moving drums and totes, assist with equipment transfers, and help the process team with special projects while adhering to safety requirements. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have previous forklift experience and will be tested upon hire.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Solid writing skills required.
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively.
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card depending on location.
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical and background check.
• Wear all required PPE and pass medical exams as needed.
• Speak, write, read fluent English.
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required.
• Previous military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Conducts daily walk-throughs of the tank farm (housekeeping/cleaning).
• Assists with moving drums, totes and other items by forklift.
• Assists with moving equipment and items for contractors on projects.
• Assists with requests from process Supervisors.
• Supports the plant process team with special projects.
• Abides by all plant safety requirements.
• Completes any other duties assigned to complete the job.
