Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced forklift operator to work in a fast-paced warehouse and production setting. You will load/unload materials, move goods, and support production lines using SAP and VMUs, with emphasis on safety and GMP compliance.

The role requires ability to read instructions, maintain forklift certification, and perform pre-trip inspections; a high school diploma or GED is required, with 3+ years in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write job instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic computer functions and use SAP through forklift VMUs.
• Demonstrated ability to operate powered industrial trucks and maintain in-house forklift certification through an approved trainer.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment (3 years+ preferred).
• High School Certification or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks safely in a high-paced warehouse and production setting.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from incoming trucks and transport them to designated areas.
• Supply raw materials to production lines and remove finished goods from production lines as required.
• Validate quantities using Blind Count Sheets and SAP transactions, including VMUs on forklifts.

What's the Job?

• Operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) safely and efficiently in a high-paced warehouse and production environment.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from incoming trucks and transport them to designated areas.
• Supply raw materials to production lines and remove finished goods from production lines as required.
• Validate quantities using Blind Count Sheets and/or SAP transactions, including using Vehicle Mounted Units (VMUs) on forklifts.
• Complete pre-trip forklift inspections, follow battery or propane tank changing procedures, and maintain clean work areas throughout the shift.

• Demonstrated ability to operate powered industrial trucks and maintain in-house forklift certification through an approved trainer.
