Job summary

US Foods in Norwich, CT is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move palletized products, organize stock, and support night and day shifts. You will drive a forklift to transfer goods between dock and storage, and ensure pallets are secure and correctly placed.

The role requires OSHA forklift certification and basic math skills; HS diploma is preferred. Benefits start day one, with weekly pay and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write; basic math skills.
• OSHA forklift certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior forklift operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transports pallet loads from dock to correct warehouse slot using powered industrial equipment.
• Replenishes pick slots from reserve slots to maintain inventory levels.
• Performs safety checks on battery, brakes, lift controls and fire extinguisher.
• Records all product, equipment and warehouse damage.
• Keeps aisles clean and follows safety policies at all times.
