Job summary

Menasha Packaging Company in Ohio is seeking a Forklift Operator to drive an industrial truck, move pallets, and support production on the floor. You will complete daily safety checks, coordinate with supervisors, and help maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to obtain forklift certification. Stand-up forklift experience and flexibility for overtime are preferred to keep production flowing.

Qualifications

• Certification to operate a forklift is required.
• Stand-up forklift experience is required.
• Previous warehouse production experience is preferred.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport finished jobs or goods to correct areas and ensure proper placement.
• Move pallets of goods for jobs in process to appropriate areas.
• Place finished goods on designated pallets and locations.
• Complete forklift operator's daily safety checklist accurately.
• Notify supervisor of mechanical or material issues.
• Coordinate with managers to ensure production line synchronization.
• Conduct daily cycle counts for corrugated materials.
• Perform inventory audits as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area by relocating empty pallets.
• Assist supervisors to maintain a safe production environment.
• Perform all functions accurately as required in our WMS system.
